Application for Graduate Admission

Financial Aid & Payment Options

Determine how you plan to pay for the program: Financial Aid or Pay-As-You-Go.

If using Financial Aid, Complete the FAFSA online. It is in your best interest to complete the financial aid process as early as possible.

Official Transcripts

Arrange for all official, sealed transcripts from any post-secondary schools attended to be sent to the address below. Official electronic transcripts can be sent to gradadmission@pointpark.edu.

Current Resume

You may submit your resume directly to the Graduate Information Office here. Your resume can also be e-mailed, faxed to (800) 504-7618, or mailed to the address listed above.

Letters of Recommendation

Point Park University requires two references who are in a position to assess your potential for successful graduate study.

Use our electronic reference system to submit your chosen recommenders names and email addresses. This will allow us to e-mail reference forms to each recommender on your behalf. Please have your recommenders check their SPAM folder if they do not receive our automated email in their inbox.

Statement of Purpose

A statement of purpose is required which addresses how your professional experience and career goals relate to graduate study.

**Candidates for the M.Ed. Secondary Education certification cohort, please reference your content area of choice when writing your essay

You may upload your completed essay (minimum of 200 words) using our online system. If you prefer, you may choose to email your essay to cweidinger@graduateprogram.org.

Identity Verification

Applicants for the online program must submit a personal photo and a picture of a government-issued photo ID for identity verification purposes.

Allowable file types for GOVERNMENT ISSUED- ID photo (driver’s license, military ID, passport): .jpg, .tiff, .gif, .doc, .docx, .pdf
